BNSF 8987 |
Description: |
The DPU’s of NS 739 aren’t doing much at this point but hanging out as the coal from the train has been emptied. Their work may be sporadic at best but one can be assured when it was loaded that they were earning their keep. The 8987 deserves a rest and easy run as it was all but destroyed in a derailment on 6/29/2007 from a wash out near Francis, Oklahoma. You couldn’t tell it now as its prime movers deep throated engine ebbs and flows off the flanks of Bald Rock Mountain at Cook Springs, AL. |
