This would prove to be the last BNSF operating on the BNSF line from Columbus, Ms to Magnolia, Al. The next day tmat portion of the line would be sold to the Alabama Gulf Coast Ry. Fittingly, an ex BN is in the lead of this last NB train. Now, the AGR would have a complete run from Columbus to phe Gulf Coast. BNSF still runs into Columbus with the 852 local. |
