EMD's last high hooded model was the GP50, an example of which can be seen here. Shortly after the time I took this picture, NS added GP50's to its dreaded (for an SOU/NW fan but shiny to train crews) nose chopping program. Hopefully one or two will be left to make it to a museum but it's not likely. |
