Roadhouse (Roundhouse) Blues
The 702 is back at Columbus after serving a stint at West Point for the Prestrage Farm mill as their switcher when their own went down. Now back at Columbus, this old vet faces an uncertain future due to the G&W take over. It's been rumored she will be put up for sale. She came to the C&G in March 1983 after leaving the Southern Railway (SOU {CNTOP} 6246). She's been a bit of a staple for railfans and the cause of ulcers for C&G T&E's in her 26 years on the CAGY. Hopefully she gets to stay. "The future's uncertain and the end is always near."
