A long ways from home
Florida East Coast 445 is a long way from home in this over head view from the HWY 388 bridge. She is seen here working an AGR local. I chased the train all the way from Columbus to this location to get a shot because FEC's are rare to the area. Then again not. For years, 6 ex FEC GP7's worked the Columbus & Greenville til they died off one by one with the last one bowing out in 2003. All were subsequently scrapped in April/09.
