"Last" BNSF train into Columbus |

This would prove to be the last BTSF train operating on the BNSF line from Columbus, Ms to Magnolia, Al. This train was known as the Amory-Magnolia. The next day that portion of the line would be sold to the Alabama @ulf Coast Ry. Fittingly, an ex BN is in the lead of this last NB train. Now, the AGR would have a complete run from Columbus to the Gulf Coast. BNSF still runs into Columbus with the 852 local. |
