Amory/Magnolia is just south of Columbus heading north to Amory. The picture is slightly blurred because I wasn't sure how to use my new camera at the time. The road to the right is the old Pickensville Rd. The crossing was relocated about 50 yards further down from the original xing after the road was realigned in 1999. The white building down the road you see is painted up light blue with dark blue trim now. Can you say CSX? |

One of the few paint schemes that holds up well under a cloudy sky. As a child I had seen this in books and painted on the train sets I would play with. There was just something about that scheme that felt like royalty. Now 15 or so years later this was my first time to meet the face in person. This scheme will dissapear over time. My 90 Cougar to the left already has. The 560 still soldiers on. |
