Alabama Southern’s Reform-Artesia Turn heads east through Stafford, AL under an abandoned county timber road bridge. The bridge has been closed for at least 10 years. These old rural wooden bridges are a bit of a Southern hallmark and I’d driven across it a few times before its closure. Having taken many images from this bridge, I opted to take one from ground level being that I never had done so and that a few recent cold snaps have put the slither smilies away for the winter. |
